Due Diligence Analysis Tool enquiry submission

The following information is needed on behalf of the EU SME in order to conduct the due diligence procedure. We recommend that before submitting this application, you contact your proposed Iranian business partner to confirm that the Helpdesk team will be in touch and encourage them to provide the necessary data to support the due diligence process.

Please note that the Helpdesk will ensure that all of the information submitted by both the EU SME and the proposed Iranian business partner will be held confidential and will not be shared with any third parties, in line with EU privacy regulations. It will neither be shared between the EU SME and the Iranian partner. For additional privacy information, please refer to the Privacy Statement on the Helpdesk website.

Firstly, the questionnaire below requires certain information about the EU SME to determine its eligibility to qualify for this program. The EU SME must fill out the information accurately and completely, with no misstatements or omissions. Secondly, complete identification details of your Iranian partner, as well as information about the intended of business activity is the necessary minimum in order to proceed with the request. Furthermore, in order for the Helpdesk to provide you with an accurate and high-quality due diligence report that correctly identifies and evaluates your potential transaction risks, you are encouraged to provide as many further details as possible. It is your input that stands at the basis of our diligence process.

    V) Contacting the Iranian partner
    For an accurate, fast and transparent due diligence procedure, the Helpdesk could send your Iranian partner a request to fill out a questionnaire designed to retrieve the minimum necessary information for conducting the due diligence process and assessing its full compliance with EU restrictive measures. You are also strongly encouraged to engage with your Iranian partner and communicate it If not, the lack of sufficient information may result in an inconclusive report.
